This example is finished in Carrara White (S9R) with a black soft top, and additional equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, LED taillights, daytime running lights, ParkAssist parking sensors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets.
Staggered-width 19″ Sport Classic alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel cross-drilled Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes with yellow Porsche-branded calipers.
The Leather Interior in Black has Carrera White leather accents on the dashboard and door panels, while the sport seats have Speedster-debossed headrests as well as Carrera White sides and checker-pattern inserts. Details include serialized door sills, a Sport Chrono dial, a Bose audio system, and a Porsche Communication Management screen.
A plaque on the glovebox lid denotes this example as #196 of 356 Speedsters produced.

@amg_usa I agree 100%... I think it's partly because of the general lack of knowledge people have about this model. With only 356 made, it ranks among the most rare Porsches to ever leave the factory.

I think the comments about the car being a cabriolet without back seats miss the mark. The Speedster is a unique build from the belt line up. This starts with the windscreen having a steeper rake, being 70mm lower, and finished in gloss black. This of course required unique side glass and a unique manually operated fabric top structure, which stores under the unique aluminum double bubble, which covers the space where rear seats would be on a cabriolet. So, a tremendous amount of engineering and bespoke fabrication went into making just 356 cars. I own one and I am reminded every time I look at it or drive it of how Porsche Exclusive, in celebration of their 25th anniversary, showed off their craftsmanship in building these one-year-only cars. Further, many feel that the 997.2 was "peak 911" due to their smaller size, hydraulic steering, and fewer electronic "aids". Finally, wherever you drive it, it will be the only one of its type there. To sum it up, it's a very special car.

This is a numbered car. Only 356 made. And it's the only numbered Porsche ever made that has not skyrocketed in price....YET. This is an undervalued asset worthy of investment, that has nowhere to go but up. GLWA

Wow, I had no idea that what is basically a 997.2 Carrera S Cabrio automatic was an at-least-a-quarter-million-dollars car. If this was based on a Turbo or had a manual, it would make a lot more sense to me.

I'm curious about the front bumper cover, didn't these come with the predrilled license plate holes? I thought Porsche prepped all North American spec cars with them. Just interested to know. Killer car that deserves all the money.
