The car is finished in Grand Prix White and features front and rear spoilers, a sunroof, fog lights, European-specification rear bumperettes, and dual side mirrors. The seller notes an area of buffer burn on the engine vent cover, and there is a ding on the right quarter panel and left door. The antenna does not work, and paint touch-ups have been applied. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.

The 16″ Fuchs wheels with black centers are mounted with 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Bridgestone Potenza S-02 tires. The car is equipped with sport shocks, and stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated rotors.

The cabin features sport seats upholstered in black leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, and a Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) system, which is linked to Retrosound speakers. The seller recommends recharging the air conditioning system.

The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 250-km/h speedometer, a clock, and gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 99k kilometeres (~61k miles), approximately 3,500 of which were added under current ownership. The seller notes that the speedometer has been repaired more than once.

The 3.0-liter flat-six was rebuilt in 2022, at which time the hydraulic timing chain tensioners were installed, and the cylinders, pistons, studs, and valve stem seals were replaced.

Wanted to add some translated documents to clarify the mileage from miles to kilometers (conversion) on the odometer. Notes also indicate one U.S. owner know before being shipped to Germany in 2012. No known damage documented before 2012.

No knowledge of recent suspension or brake service since 2022. I have looked through those records and I don’t recall any specifics on that. I have not serviced those items since I have owned it.

The sunroof edge discoloration is factory cosmoline protection from overseas shipping. The other brown in your referred photo appeared to me to be staining.

The unmodified California version in theory has all the equipment in place to pass the smog test. I am not aware that any of the original equipment has been removed. I can tell the catalytic converter is in place and the O2 sensor. CIS and EVAP canister is still attached. For the time it spent in Germany it did pass the TUV inspection which does include “smog compliance” and all around roadworthiness. The vehicle file has all those 2 year inspection included. California and Euro 6e aspect are both strict but have slight differences.

Thank you for the comment. The previous owner stated in his timeline describing the service and history as it being a goodwill engine overhaul. I do not know the specific reason. I do know the name of the German shop the did they work. It’s listed in the files along with the description of what was done.

Leather dash on SCs can warp. I had mine recovered. Does the seller know why the engine was rebuilt?

Cosmo007 I see what you are referring to. If it is an added piece of material I have not attempted to tuck on it or disturb it. The dash I have not noticed excessive shrinkage but as most 40 year old sure has some age on it. For an additional piece of leather to be added would be odd compared to the rest of the dash condition. I will certainly take some more photos near the defrost area and post them to the comments.

Arts992 I am sorry I did not obtain compression test or leak down test values before the auction started and not sure they can be taken this week. There are no leaks of any type. The tires are 2012 and the previous seller did mention age in his history timeline. I have not had issues with the tires such as punctures or tread depth. They look brand new but I understand and thank you for the question. I have not taken temp checks in the car but did disclose that the refrigerant needs topping off. The previous owner did mention in his service records that refrigerant was added at least twice during his ownership period of 11 years. The blower and fans work but is not as cold as it could be. There is nothing I am aware that is in need of attention that is not stated in the description I provided to BoT

Thank you Caymanorcarrer. It has been a really nice car to own and beyond my expectations for my first air-cooled 911. Yes the bumpers were swapped out to the Euro version. I do have the old U.S. style that will come with the car. The pervious owner really trusted PS shop in Frankfurt Germany as he used them for almost every repair and maintenance service . Thank you for your comment.

Looks to be a clean and maintain SC.
@seller can you provide some compression test values and leak down test values?
Is there any fluid leaks of any type?
Date code on the tires and/or when they were replaced?
Does everything work as intended, horn, lights, wipers, etc.?
Does the AC blow cold? Can you provide temperature readings for the AC?
Is there anything that may need attention?

In pic # 74 did someone put black leather material in the space or gap above the actual AC vent ?
Is this due to the shrinkage & age of the black leather dash ?
