Presentation

This Backdraft Racing RT4B Roadster was assembled circa 2022 and is outfitted with GT bodywork, a Big and Tall interior, a five-speed manual transmission, and a 7.3-liter Godzilla V8. Finished in white with black stripes, the car rolls on knock-off 18″ Halibrand-style wheels and is equipped with the Black Out trim package, adjustable suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, a single roll hoop, LED lighting, and a ceramic-coated sidepipe exhaust system. The cockpit features low-back bucket seats trimmed in black leather with yellow accents as well as a Sabelt steering wheel and racing harnesses, push-button ignition, and Classic Instruments AutoCross gauges. Work in September 2026 included replacing the clutch and resurfacing the flywheel. This RT4B Roadster now shows 2k miles following the seller’s 2026 acquisition and is offered with a car cover, a USB drive containing files related to the car, and a Tennessee title describing the vehicle as a 2022 ROAT RT4.

Other details include a single roll hoop, a hood scoop, LED headlights, clear front marker lights, windshield frame-mounted side mirrors, wind wings, quick jack bumperettes, a LeMans-style fuel filler cap, and ceramic-coated side-exit exhaust pipes with perforated heat shields.

The low-back bucket seats are upholstered in black leather with yellow stitching and accents, and coordinated material extends to the transmission tunnel and door panels. Sabelt racing harnesses with camlock quick releases are fitted for each occupant, and the cockpit is also appointed with push-button ignition, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, and a battery safety cutoff switch. The Big and Tall interior also has lowered seat pans, extended footwells, and a recessed hand brake. A December 2025 entry on the Carfax report notes “minor damage with another motor vehicle” that involved a parked vehicle.

@rickone see attached invoice from the shop. My shop recommended it after their inspection. I only drove the car for about 100 miles. The wear on it was from the previous owner.

With only 2000 miles on the road, please let us know what happened to necessitate the need for a new clutch and resurfacing of the flywheel.also, what clutch did you install?

@seller - I have to disagree on the rust comments. It's only 4 years old and I'm surprised it would be driven in the wet given the whole lack-of-top thing. Was the car delivered with this much rust when new or was it exposed to salt? Any additional comments on why the frame already has so much rust that it's bubbling the paint/coating?

This won’t go cheap

@rwc there is no chassis damage. Rust is very minimal and standard on vehicles that are driven in wet conditions and are of this age.

@tensking my shop was not able to locate any repairs. They suspect one or both of the quick jacks needed to be replaced. The paint is all original.

Great looking ride here! Any more color on the chassis damage/rust? I may have missed that part.

@seller in addition to the information that @tensking has asked for can you provide close up photos of the damaged and repaired areas?
Oct 24, 2026 · 21:23
@stuckinthepast16 are you able to provide more information and context to the minor accident on the Carfax? @Seller

@seller you should probably do a spirited drive with the new clutch to show everyone the power of godzilla. And to see the clutch works well now.

The video was taken 6 weeks ago. The clutch was replaced and flywheel resurfaced two weeks ago. There is no slippage anymore. Thanks for asking @1krazygravy

I don't know if it's you or the clutch but in the drive video there is way to much slippage! Does it need replacing again?

Welcome to the auction for my 2022 Backdraft Racing RT4B Black Edition Shelby Cobra! I purchased this roadster as a replacement for my 2020 Shelby GT500, but to be completely honest, I didn't quite think it through, my kids aren't old enough yet to ride along with me like I had planned! This car is an absolute blast and drives incredibly. It gets an unbelievable amount of attention everywhere it goes, from thumbs-up at stop lights and packed parking lots to drive-by double-takes. To ensure the winning bidder has total confidence and a turn-key experience from day one, I had the entire car thoroughly inspected, and just two weeks ago I had a brand-new clutch installed and the flywheel professionally resurfaced. Whoever takes this home is getting a dialed-in, powerhouse machine that they can hit the road with immediately. Good luck bidding, and I'm happy to answer any questions throughout the auction!
