2026 MAX 2 880-S Amphibious ATV

This 2026 MAX 2 880-S is a 6×6 amphibious all-terrain vehicle that that was built by MAX using its current Springer underbody, equipment, and chassis and an older upper body. It is powered by a 627cc Briggs & Stratton V-twin paired with a Borg-Warner T-20 skid-steer transmission. The plastic bodywork is finished in a green and tan swirl pattern, and equipment includes independent suspension, a roll bar, a Warn winch, a rear cargo rack, LED lighting, and polished 10″ wheels. This MAX 2 is now offered by the selling dealer in Ohio for off-road use only with an operator’s manual, build photos, and a Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin.
The plastic bodywork is finished in a green and tan “Camo Swirl” pattern. Features include a roll bar, a rear cargo rack, LED lighting, and a front-mounted Warn winch.
Polished 10″ wheels are mounted with Grizzly Vee Rubber tires. The vehicle features a full-time six-wheel drive system and was optioned with a “Springer” independent suspension. Directional control is accomplished via a skid-steer setup.
The passenger compartment houses a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl as well as a passenger grab handle, dual steering levers, and instrumentation consisting of a 6k-rpm tachometer and a 40-mph GPS speedometer. The digital odometer indicates 0.8 hours of runtime.

Thank you for the question! As of now, the Springer models do not have a hitch. However, the standard MAX 2 model does have a “pin” type receiver.

Built in Bradenton, Florida by Recreative Industries, this MAX Springer features a New Old Stock body in "Camo Swirl" from the original MAX ATV manufacturer, but has been built on an entirely new chassis and drivetrain. Thank you for the comment! There are a couple tire options, some of which are better at “swimming” than others. This MAX is equipped with the belted Grizzly tires that are stronger on land but less swim capable. They can be swapped from side to side to run a reverse “V” pattern which does help in the water.
