Presentation

This 2003 Ferrari 360 Spider has 20k miles and has spent most of its time registered in Nevada, California, and Arizona. A blue vinyl wrap covers the gray-finished body, and power is from a 3.6-liter V8 paired with a six-speed F1 sequential transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 18″ two-piece BBS alloy wheels, a Nero convertible soft top, aftermarket fender shields, power-adjustable Daytona-style seats, automatic climate control, and a CD stereo. Purchased by the seller in March 2026, this 360 Spider is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline as well as a digital fuel level readout and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, and coolant temperature. Paddle shifters for the F1 gearbox are mounted behind the steering wheel. The digital odometer indicates 20k miles, approximately 350 of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.6-liter Tipo F131 V8 features a flat-plane crankshaft, dry-sump lubrication, dual overhead camshafts, and five valves per cylinder. Factory-rated output was 400 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. According to the seller, the timing belt was replaced in 2021 at 14k miles, and work carried out earlier this year included replacing the battery and rebuilding the water pump. An oil change was carried out about 200 miles ago.

Reposting: History of the car: This Ferrari 360 Spider spent much of its life registered in Sanoma County, CA – wine country, owned by a tech executive who works in San Francisco and serviced the car at Ferrari of San Francisco. The car was purchased and trailered to Cave Creek AZ where it was minimally used (and actually never even washed. ever) This owner is a collector, owns 47 cars, started the car every week and left a low-volt battery charger on, but only drove the car 350 miles in the 5 years that he owned it. A bit of a barn find for me.. I acquired the car from this collector via trade in March, 2026 and restored it.

Perhaps you also missed this - I’ve only owned the car since March and always intended to flip it

@kbachman1
Didn’t miss a thing , doesn’t matter if they were driven on or new old stock from a dealer , nobody drives Ferrari , or any sports cars with 9 year old tires , and certainly don’t drive with old belts without fear a major engine catastrophe. The car needs service , simple fact of exotic ownership.
Exotics and deferred maintenance is a formula for a very expensive lesson.

Extra vinyl - just in case, or if the buyer wanted to coat the door panels.

I was asked how I arrived at the color Sky Blue? The interior of this 360 certainly feels like a black interior, although if you zoom in the bucket seats are actually dark blue, so that certainly limits your color choices. I also wanted to choose a color that POPS with the yellow Ferrari badges and also one that turns heads, which it most certainly does.
High Gloss Sky Blue.

Perhaps you missed it below along with the other details, but the car was idle for years, hence the low mileage and (yes) old tires that are nearly perfect.
Oct 27, 2026 · 18:06
@kbachman1
Well since you asked , I don’t know anybody driving sports cars on 9 year old tires , and the belts in your car would be replaced the week I bought it, I fully understand what rubber does when it ages .

What’s under the wrap was described below it’s virgin glossy silver paint and yes I included photos - no mystery.

In Ferrari-speak, "major service" on a 360 = belt/tensioner replacement (at least), and while the factory recommends 3-year intervals (regardless of mileage), the consensus is every 5 years.
kbachman1 (The Seller)
Oct 27, 2026 · 15:01
@enzo4re
6 years and 6000 miles is not an issue for the belt
And I DID do a major service - water pump
Oct 27, 2026 · 14:16
No wrap adds value to a Ferrari- at least not to 99.9% of Ferrari enthusiasts. In fact, in view of the uncertain condition of what lies beneath it, not to mention what damage could occur when it's removed, it's a liability.
And this one is LONG overdue for a belt/tensioner service- no knowledgeable 360 owner goes more than 5 years between major services, as time- not just mileage- is a big factor. Today's modern belts may last longer than those from a bygone era, but tensioners are as big an issue- and belts do tend to take a set against tensioners when left stationary.

Here’s my editorial on the 360, the LAST of the naturally aspirated Spiders along with the 430 and 458 models. The 430 and 458 are now selling ABOVE the original sticker price. The 360 needs to catch up imo. Said another way, the value of these cars is going UP. Not a bad place to park money in this environment, while you also have some fun on Sundays :)

Of course. The thought process was- sometimes with a car that’s not utilized much the water pump gaskets can become dry-rotten to the point where you get oil in the coolant and coolant in the oil. To avoid this risk, I opted to do the water pump. The timing belt replacement is more a function of miles driven, in our opinion. As I alluded to below, I would personally do the next belt service within 4 years or 25000 miles whichever comes first.
Oct 26, 2026 · 22:22
I was looking for clarity on the thought process - so why they said the water pump would need to be done again after doing it with you and why they didnt complete the belt service while already in there. Can't tell by the carfax, but assuming its been 8-10 years since the belts were done. Time is also a factor on the belt service. Do you still have the receipt?
Oct 26, 2026 · 22:01
Granted, not a factory color but it looks great on the 360 Spider. I would rate it a positive over the OEM color. Good luck!

It’s only been 6000 miles since the last belt replacement, although the car wasn’t utilized much so I opted to do the water pump nonetheless. I hope that helps.
Oct 26, 2026 · 21:27
Interesting one of the most beautiful cars ever in a color wrap that is unbelievably popular today and looks great of course on this 360. Not a fan of wraps, but this color on this car is really nice.
Oct 26, 2026 · 21:11
I'm confused on the water pump - so they rebuilt the water pump, but didn't do the belts while in there, but the service center recommends to rebuild the water pump when one does the belt service later? Any chance you can share the receipt from European Highline? Apologies if I missed it
Oct 26, 2026 · 21:04
Can you provide a list of items you restored in March 2026? Have the timing belts been done or has any other engine maintenance been done? Curious to why there was no tire replacement with 9-year-old tires during its restoration.

The wrap: Wrap Vault of Scottsdale completed the wrap in July, 2026 in High Gloss Sky Blue. I have an entire roll of additional vinyl that I will include with the purchase, if the buyer wishes to wrap additional body parts in the future.

“Desirable features” may or may not include “factory options”. Thanks for the question
Oct 26, 2026 · 01:56
I wasn't asking a personal preference question. I was asking specifically what you were referring to about the options that make this car more valuable. None of what you mentioned are factory options. Wraps in my opinion dont increase the value of exotics. Pretty color though, thanks for the clarification.

Of course. The results support value in the mid-100s for F1 430’s and low-100s for low mileage 360s, particularly for those with unique or otherwise desirable color combos

You can remove the wrap if you buy it, sure. The car was COVERED with pfm plastic tape when I acquired it, and was likely covered for 20+ years - became discolored and started cracking. When I removed the tape, the glossy silver paint underneath is practically virgin paint having been covered over the decades. However, a few small (raisin-sized) chips of paint came off during the removal process you would need minor touch-up paint.

Is it possible to remove the blue vinyl wrap???
kbachman1 (The Seller)
Oct 20, 2026 · 20:04
The wrap was done in July. If the buyer wishes he can remove the glass headlamp enclosures and paint (not wrap) under the headlamp glass. I was really pleased with how the silver looks underneath so I left it (looks like a 430 front end now imo)
Oct 20, 2026 · 19:45
I always wondered how you would handle the headlight color if a 360 was wrapped. This is one way to do it. How old is the wrap?

@jasonfein
Just did the oil change, battery, brake pads and water pump. Wont need any service for 2 years (oil change), assuming that you only drive 1000 miles a year or so like I do. My mechanic (European Highline Scottsdale) and I decided to wait on the belt service (which also entails rebuilding the water pump), although I would personally plan on doing the belt service within a few years. I would NOT wait another 14k miles from when the belt was last replaced (at 14k miles). I would personally budget for belt service in year 3 or 4, but I’m a perfectionist w my cars. I hope that’s helpful.
