Presentation

This 1957 Chevrolet Stepside pickup was the subject of a custom build before being purchased by the seller in 2019 and later featured in Street Trucks magazine. The build was completed by Nostalgia Hot Rods in Henderson, Nevada, and involved mounting the cab and bed on a TCI chassis as well as finishing the body in metallic silver after the door handles, drip rails, emblems, and mirrors were shaved. Power is provided by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 linked to a 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission and a 9″ rear end. The chassis features a Mustang II-style front suspension setup, a rear four-link assembly, and adjustable Ridetech airbags as well as power rack-and-pinion steering and power-assisted Wilwood disc brakes. The bed has a custom raised floor and inner fenders as well as a smoothed tailgate, and the exterior features LED lighting, a body-color grille, and smoothed and tucked bumpers with mesh exhaust outlets in the rear bumper. A custom interior by HRH Designs features bolstered seats, a custom center console, and fabricated door panels trimmed in red leather accompanied by Vintage Air climate control, a Budnik steering wheel, Dakota Digital gauges, and an Apple iPad to control the audio system. This custom Task Force pickup is now offered with a Texas title in the seller’s name.

The body was painted in PPG Atomic Silver after the trim and emblems were removed, and the door handles, drip rails, and mirrors were shaved. Additional equipment includes a body-color grille, LED headlights, LED taillight strips below the tailgate, a smoothed and tucked front bumper, and mesh exhaust cutouts in the rear bumper. A paint chip is noted on the front bumper.

The 20×9″ front and 20×13″ rear Budnik Gasser wheels are wrapped in staggered Continental tires and mounted over power-assisted Wilwood disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors.

The custom-trimmed cab by HRH Design features bolstered low-back seats trimmed in red leather along with coordinated door panels. The fabricated center console is trimmed to match and extends to the rear cab panel, and it houses a storage compartment, a B&M shifter, buttons for the door poppers, and a molded insert for the iPad used to control the audio system. Additional appointments include Vintage Air climate control, Lokar pedals, and power windows.

My badd didn’t want to 👍 on conversation. There should be a way to retract. If your intention is to use like a NEW fully equipped truck just buy a new truck. These are 60+
personality it silly you would ask.
Seller’’’ it’s a BEAUTIFUL pice of work.

@chetjr see responses below….
Any damage or issues from past accidents, flood, etc.? NO
Rear end ratio or tach at 60? NO IDEA ON RATIO. TACH STILL UNDER 2k @ 60 mph
Do you have the engine build specs like cam, compression, etc. NO
Are the trans and torque converter stock? NOTHING IS STOCK ON THE BUILD
Tire age? TIRES ARE FROM BUILD DATE 2018
Bed dimensions including depth? SEE ALT COMMENTS BELOW
Is the bed floor a heavy enough gauge to allow hauling a 600 lb bike? WITH ALL DUE RESPECT THIS IS NOT A TRUCK YOU'RE GOIING TO HAUL ANYTHING BUT A55 IN. THERE ARE NO HOOKS, LOOPS, STRAPS OR OTHER TO TIE DOWN ANYTHING.
Any reason the truck couldn’t be used for light towing with the addition of a tow bar? YOU'RE NOT SERIOUS? TOWING WITH THIS TRUCK IS COMPARABLE TO TAKING A SANDWICH TO A BUFFET….YOU SIMPLY WOULD’NT DO IT.
Are you agreeable to an inspection of the truck if timing can be worked out? TRUCK AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION.
IM TRULY NOT TRYING TO BE A OFFENSIVE IN MY REPLIES. I WOULD BE REMISS IF I DIDN'T POINT OUT YOU HAVE ASKED SIMILAR QUESTIONS LIKE THIS ON PAST AUCTIONS (OF SAME TYPE BUILDS) AND IM NOT SURE WHY. THERE ARE MANY GREAT VEHICLES CURRENTLY BEING AUCTIONED THAT WOULD MORE SUITABLY FIT WHAT I THINK YOU'RE LOOKING FOR. I SUGGEST LOOKING UP F150, F250, 1500, 2500, RAM ETC.
