27-Years-Family-Owned 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary

This 1989 Lamborghini Countach is one of approximately 658 examples of the 25th Anniversary variant built during a three-year production run. Chassis KLA12634 is believed to have been sold new through Nastasi Automobile Inc. of North Bergen, New Jersey, and was later acquired by the current owner’s spouse in March 1999. Now showing 12k kilometers (~7k miles), the car is finished in Rosso over Champagne leather and powered by a 5.2-liter quad-cam V12 linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car rides on 15″ OZ Racing multi-piece wheels and features pop-up headlights, scissor doors, and a rear wing. Inside, power-adjustable seats are accompanied by a gated shifter, electronic climate control, and an Alpine CD stereo. This 25th Anniversary Countach is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with partial service records, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean New York title in the owner’s name.
Originally penned by Marcello Gandini, the Countach’s bodywork was updated by Horacio Pagani for the 25th Anniversary edition of the model that debuted in 1988. Features include carbon and Kevlar body panels, gradually inclined air intakes with longitudinal fins, and revisions to the front fascia, engine cover, and sills when compared to earlier models.
The aluminum and composite bodywork is finished in Rosso and mounted over a tubular steel space frame. NACA ducts are located aft of the scissor doors, and a V-shaped wing is fitted out back. Further details include pop-up headlights, fog lights, power-adjustable side mirrors, and quad exhaust outlets. The seller notes that work in September 2014 involved re-contouring and re-securing the left-side headlight cover as well as replacing the attachment hardware for the front headlight covers.
The 15″ OZ Racing multi-piece alloy wheels were mounted with 225/50 front and 345/35 rear Pirelli P Zero tires in 2026. The Countach features a fully independent suspension with coil springs and telescopic shock absorbers, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes.
The cockpit features power-adjustable bucket seats upholstered in Champagne leather along with a matching center console, door panels, and lower dashboard. Interior appointments include an Alpine CD stereo and a Jaeger digital clock along with electronic climate control and power windows.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is paired with a dogleg-pattern gated shifter and fronts Jaeger instrumentation including a 320-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline along with gauges for battery voltage, oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 12k kilometers (~7k miles), approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership. The Carfax report lists mileage inconsistencies in October 2020 and May 2026, the former of which is noted as a potential clerical error.

That should be a 750 K car. It’s a great value if the reserve is lifted. The Lamborghini Mira has really taken off in value, in the last year or so. it’s just a matter of time before this generation of countach follows.

@SRMDCC when being inspected kilometers to miles was switched and it was then corrected back to kilometers. No clutch work or engine out during current ownership.

If you look at all the exotic cars and their increase in value over the past 18 months, this model is one of the most undervalued exotic cars at this time. good luck to the seller and buyer. I believe this model will have great appreciation over the next few years. It is a showstopper at any car show you bring it to.

It's the first car I dreamed of owning as a kid. I was lucky enough to find an original owner 89 Countach with 2400 miles 2 years ago and finally fulfilled the dream. My kids will inherit it, I will never part with it. Its hard to say if its more fun to drive or to just look at in the garage. It's an emotional connection, even after all these years. GLWTA!
