This 2023 Airstream Caravel 21′ travel trailer features a 20FB floor plan that offers a kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower, a forward sleeping area, and a dinette that converts into a sleeping surface. Trimmed in aluminum, the exterior has front stone guards, three awnings, a power tongue jack, a rearview camera, and an extended rear bumper, while the interior houses a memory-foam mattress, a refrigerator, a three-burner cooktop, a microwave, a flat-screen TV, and a surround-sound system. The trailer rides on 15″ aluminum wheels and a torsion axle with drum brakes. A tankless water heater, a furnace, and a roof-mounted air conditioning unit and solar panel are additional equipment. Acquired by the selling dealer in August 2026, this Caravel is now offered with a clean Pennsylvania title.
The Caravel was launched in 1956, and this example’s body is clad in aluminum with a white-finished roof. It features three awnings, a Thule side step, front stone guards, panoramic front windows, an LED entrance lamp and taillights, a rearview camera, and an extended rear bumper with integrated storage. The trailer measures approximately 21’ in length, and the tongue is outfitted with a power jack and a propane tank enclosure. A solar panel and an air conditioning unit are mounted on the roof, and additional house equipment includes a tankless propane-powered water heater, an exterior shower, a 1k-watt pure sine-wave inverter, and an 18k-BTU furnace.
Accessed via the right-side entry door with a screen, the living quarters offer a forward bedroom with a memory-foam mattress, a blanket and throw pillows, a privacy curtain, blackout shades, under-bed and overhead storage, and LED reading lights. Insulated aluminum walls are complemented by vinyl flooring, and a JL stereo is linked to a surround-sound system with a subwoofer. Additional elements include a closet, laminated cabinetry, power outlets and USB ports, a fire extinguisher, ventilation fans, aluminum roller blinds, and LED lighting.
A flat-screen TV is located atop a storage cabinet that houses an electric refrigerator, and the adjacent kitchenette provides a stainless-steel sink, laminate countertops, a microwave, and a range hood over a three-burner cooktop. The convertible dinette has bench seating upholstered in black Ultraleather.
The enclosed rear lavatory has a sink with a Moen faucet as well as a toilet, a towel hanger, and a shower with a detachable shower head and a retractable clothesline.
Aluminum 15″ six-spoke wheels are mounted with 225/75 Goodyear Endurance tires. The vehicle rides on shocks in addition to a torsion axle with drum brakes, and the insulated and heated underside has metal panels and four stabilizer jacks.

@machtig is correct that winter camping is viable in this Airstream as well as most others; the other comments to the contrary are misinformed, as Airstream’s own documentation will confirm. We have winter camped in our 2022 Caravel 20FB for many weeks below 20°F. Propane is all you need; shore power and/or skirts are nice to have. For what it’s worth, the 20FB has the biggest galley among the single-axle models, arguably the best kitchen in the whole lineup. Tongue weight is right around 650lbs.

Airstream Winter camping is “DRY” camping. No water in the systems. Carry your water and your Honey Pot! Works fine then. Still “Glamping” compared to a tent! Still have heat and cooking. And a comfortable bed!

Airstream belly pans are fully sealed, and the furnace is ducted to the underfloor area where tanks and water lines are to prevent freezing when camping in sub freezing temps. I’ve camped in mine well into the single digits with no issues other than burning a ton of propane.

Is not a good idea to use any aluminum travel trailer on real winter, mild cold is ok if is freezing avoid it, not this not any none are 4 season if that is the case you need to find a 4 season one.

@wdunbar almost no RV is full winter. It'll take mid 20s probably with heated lines. The underbelly is heated with the propane furnace like all RVs. You can add electric heaters if you have access to a plug in. Airstream aren't winter RVs.
