0-Mile 2018 Jack Daniel's Limited Edition Indian Scout Bobber
Presentation
This 2018 Indian Scout Bobber is one of 177 Jack Daniel’s Limited Edition units produced to commemorate the Jack Daniel’s Fire Brigade, all of which were finished in matte black with 24-karat gold graphics, and this example was purchased new by the seller. Powered by a liquid-cooled 69ci DOHC V-twin paired with a six-speed transmission, the bike features electronic fuel injection, 16″ alloy wheels, disc brakes, a black dual exhaust system, a perforated black leather seat featuring Jack Daniel’s embroidery, and Old No. 7-branded foot controls. This Jack Daniel’s Scout Bobber has zero miles and is now offered in Florida as part of the Jack Daniel’s Indian Collection with a custom-engraved Jack Daniel’s Fire Brigade axe and a clean Idaho title in the seller’s name.
The bodywork is finished in matte black with a 24-karat gold graphic of the Jack Daniels Fire Brigade emblem on the fuel tank as well as a matching Bottles and Throttles Don’t Mix graphic on the front fender. Features include blacked-out finishes on the fender struts, exhaust tips, and valve covers as well as Old No. 7-branded grips and pegs, a perforated leather solo seat with an embroidered Jack Daniel’s logo, and a side stand.
Black-finished 16″ alloy wheels wear Indian-branded tires. Suspension consists of a 41mm telescopic fork as well as dual black-finished shocks attached to the swingarm. Anti-lock braking is handled by a two-piston caliper fitted over a 298mm disc up front and a single-piston caliper fitted over a 298mm disc at the rear.
The black handlebar features underslund bar-end mirrors, black hand levers, and black grips with machined accents. Instrumentation consists of a 200-mph speedometer with an inset digital display featuring a digital tachometer, a trip meter, a coolant temperature readout, and a low fuel indicator. The digital odometer indicates 0 miles.
A 24k gold-plated plaque denotes the motorcycle as #153 of 177 produced in the Jack Daniel’s Limited Edition.
The liquid-cooled 69ci DOHC V-twin features electronic fuel injection and a black two-into-two exhaust system. Factory-rated output was 100 horsepower and 72 lb-ft of torque. The seller tells us that the bike has been started monthly since the time of purchase.

Spring Hill! Geez, I could come over and sit on that today. The Indian Bobber is on my list and this is a beautiful bike, but I have other needs today. Good luck with that auction.

I recognize where that picture was taken, that's where JD makes their own charcoal.
The Indian Garage in Lynchburg is closed now, but I think I seen one of these bikes in there when I visited, not long after they opened. No bikes were for sale there, just merchandise. The JD tour is the Disneyland of distillery tours, but that was a bit much for me, as I prefer a more personal experience, but still glad I was able to check that one on my list. I did buy a bottle at the gift shop and had it custom engraved for a friend.
I did just realize those are actually Kenda brand tires on it, that have been rebranded as Indian, but kept the same model designation. I guess if someone actually wanted to ride the bike, they could install the Kenda tire, store the originals away, and hardly anyone would be the wiser.
I do think a new owner of this bike would benefit from going on the JD distillery tour, to tie the experience to the bike. It's such an odd thing, to have that large of a tourist attraction in a very small town. That, and it's a dry county (with limited beer options), where the JD distillery is the only place to get spirits. Exit through the gift shop.

🔥 THE CLOCK IS TICKING — LAST FULL DAY OF BIDDING! 🔥
How often does an opportunity like this come along?
One of only 177 produced, this 2018 Jack Daniel’s Indian Scout Bobber commemorates the legendary Jack Daniel’s Fire Brigade.
Original owners. Zero miles. A limited-edition motorcycle that has been part of our personal collection since new.
And remember, this is just ONE of the five motorcycles in our Wendell Five Collection!
These bikes weren’t purchased to ride. They were purchased because we appreciated what they represented and wanted to preserve them.
Now it’s someone else’s opportunity to become part of their story.
Five extraordinary motorcycles. Five pieces of history. One opportunity.
Good luck to everyone bidding!

This was the bike that really got us started down this rabbit hole. 😂 The blacked-out Scout Bobber with the 24-karat gold graphics is still such a great-looking combination. This is also the one bike from the collection that we actually showed. Otherwise, like the rest of them, it has spent its life being protected and admired a whole lot more than ridden. And then there’s the owner gift…the personalized Jack Daniel’s fireman’s axe. We still have it, along with everything we kept with the bike. Looking back at the original Indian and Jack Daniel’s photos from when this edition was announced makes us remember why we wanted one in the first place.

We thought we’d share a little of the history behind this bike during the auction. The inspiration for the 2018 Jack Daniel’s Scout Bobber is one of our favorite parts of the story. Jack Daniel’s is the only distillery in the world with its own fire brigade, staffed entirely by employee volunteers. Indian and Jack Daniel’s designed this edition after the brigade’s black-and-gold fire trucks as a tribute to firefighters and first responders. Indian opened orders for just 177 of these worldwide on March 13, 2018. All 177 were spoken for in less than 10 minutes. This is #153, which we purchased new, and it has remained at 0 miles. We also still have its original custom-engraved Jack Daniel’s Fire Brigade axe. We’ve enjoyed owning and preserving this bike from the beginning, and we’ll share some more of its story and original Jack Daniel’s/Indian material as the auction goes along.
