799-Mile 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS Weissach
Presentation
This 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS has remained stored in private collections following the initial sale at Porsche of Beachwood in Ohio, and it now has 799 miles. It is finished in paint-to-sample Mexico Blue over black leather and Alcantara and is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six linked with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The car was optioned with $18k Weissach Package, the Sport Chrono Package, 20″ and 21″ magnesium center-lock wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes with yellow calipers, a front-axle lift system, LED headlights with PDLS, a rear wing, carbon-fiber full bucket seats, navigation, automatic climate control, a CD stereo, a Bose sound system, and cruise control. This 991 GT2 RS was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024 and is now offered in Nevada with a window sticker, two keys, a clean Carfax report, and an Ohio title.
Weight savings were targeted with the GT2 RS program, and Porsche fitted multiple carbon-fiber components including the hood, front fender vents, side intakes, side mirrors, and rear wing. The Weissach Package reduces weight further through the use of carbon fiber for the roof panel and the anti-roll bars. Downforce is increased with a large rear wing, underbody diffuser, and a deeper front fascia, while NACA ducts in the front trunk lid aid in brake cooling. This example is finished in paint-to-sample Mexico Blue and has LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Lighting System, fog lights, and auto-dimming mirrors.
Black-finished 20″ and 21″ magnesium wheels feature center-locking hubs and are mounted with Michelin tires. The car is equipped with adjustable dampers and anti-roll bars, Porsche Active Suspension Management, Porsche Stability Management, and rear-axle steering. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes were standard on the GT2 RS and feature yellow calipers and cross-drilled rotors. The optional front-axle lift raises the car on command to help prevent scraping.
The carbon-fiber full bucket seats are trimmed in black leather with Alcantara inserts, Racing Yellow seatbelts, and contrasting stitching that extends to the dashboard, center armrest, steering column, and door panels. Carbon-fiber trim accents the cabin, and additional appointments include Weissach embroidery on the headrests, automatic climate control, a CD stereo, a Bose sound system, cruise control, Voice Control, carbon-fiber illuminated door sill guards, a fire extinguisher, and PCM infotainment with navigation.
The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel features lightweight shift paddles and frames a 250-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The optional Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 799 miles, approximately 400 of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six was factory rated at 700 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. Features include an intercooler spray system, a titanium rear exhaust muffler, and a carbon-fiber engine cover.

Re: "market is softening or going down"- nah, come on, ya'll know the final hammer depends on the car, the seller, the day, and the buyers in the bidding pool, but what truly matters is that an $800k hammer on a Gt2rs with 800 miles proves the Gt2rs is still in a league of its own and I personally believe 2026 will be the last yr we see low mileage versions hammer for 6 figures

@steven0401Agree on comparing auctions. However, all that matters for the comp is that someone was willing to part ways with a total of $918k to land that GT2RS with ~2k more miles than the one being sold today. So leveling fees, I'd personally not want to see this incredible car sold for a dime less than $1m, as the 2k less miles are far more valuable for me, as a collector, vs the few extra upgrades. Regardless, 900K+ or I'm betting we see a reserve not met. Good luck to the seller and bidders- I'd be in there if a needed another one:).

@degeland. It is difficult to predict price. At terrestrial auctions, the delta between what the buyer pays and the seller receives is not insignificant. As I recall, the hammer price on the Gulf Blue car at Broad Arrow was $820k (buyer's premium added $97k to the final price - 12% on the first $250 + 10% on remainder). From $820k, one needs to deduct the seller's premium which, although negotiable, can be 5-10%. The seller likely received about $750 - $775K. Even though a couple of thousand more miles, the Gulf Blue car also had extensive customization options. Comps are tricky.

Clearly a lot has to do with timing on these platforms, but seller not likely to let this one go for under 7 figures, and won’t blame them- the market trend has all but said: low mileage + mint GT2rs are officially 7 figure collectibles that are quickly finding their forever homes! Good luck to the seller- stellar preservation and stewardship of an amazing vehicle! And to the buyer: congrats in advance, the Gt2rs represents one of the greatest productions of the internal-combustion super car era! Undoubtedly the most visceral and uncompromising street legal production car ever produced by Porsche, and one of the best ever produced by the industry- period. These damn things are a piece of auto history, the very peak of internal combustion b4 the world turned hybrid/fully electric!

@seller, Beautiful car, but your sales pitch makes me chuckle when you tout “fun to drive”. Come on. We all know this rare item will, sadly, never be really driven. It will be stared at in a climate controlled collector’s vault, like it has been for the better part of a decade, awaiting the next wave of appreciation price bumps. That is simply the reality.

PTS Mexico Blue on this platform is genuinely scarce; the color originated on the 904 and resurfaced sparingly on later GT cars, which is part of why these PTS GT2 RS examples draw the attention they do regardless of mileage. Full carbon buckets plus front axle lift is a nicely considered combination for a car likely to see more static display than track time. Hope it finds a careful next custodian.

This car has also never been in the rain. As you can see from the underneath photos the production stickers are still on it. Just like the day it roll out of the factory. Only a handful of GT2RS came in this PTS color.

Porsche does not publish the number of PTS cars it produces. I have heard two different numbers with regards to the Mexico Blue and the GT2RS ( 4 & 6 ) units total. Unfortunately, I have nothing to back that up with just what I have heard. Regardless, its a very special car and a blast to drive!

We hold a dealers license for our work fleet. (We are not a used car lot and this was not a trade in) This car was acquired from a friend and I have had it for about three years and put almost 400 miles on it. This paint to sample and optioned car is very unique.
