This 2026 Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC is powered by a supercharged and intercooled 5.2-liter Predator cross-plane crank V8 linked with a seven-speed Tremec dual-clutch automatic transmission, a composite carbon fiber driveshaft, and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Optioned with the Carbon Fiber Exterior Package, the car also is equipped with the model-specific vented hood and front and rear fascias as well as a flat bottom steering wheel, LED headlights, a rear spoiler and Gurney flap, a rear diffuser, auxiliary coolers, an active exhaust system, a MagneRide damping system, a magnesium strut tower brace, Brembo brakes, and 20″ Tarnished Dark cast aluminum wheels. Finished in Carbonized Gray Metallic over Black Onyx ActiveX, the car also has a Bang & Olufsen sound system, digital center and cluster displays, Ford Racing sill plates, Magnesium paddle shifters, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Acquired by the seller in 2026, this Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC Coupe has 26 miles and is now offered with a window sticker, the manufacturer’s literature, and a Michigan title.
The Dark Horse SC is the result of collaboration between Ford Racing motorsports and road-car engineering teams and it features a revised front fascia with enlarged grille and side openings as well as a model-specific vented hood, functional hood pins, underbody and rear diffusers, SC fender badging, rectangular quad-exhaust outlets, and a rear spoiler with a Gurney flap. The $10k Carbon Fiber Exterior Package specified an exposed carbon fiber front grille, rear diffuser, and mirror caps.
The 20″ Tarnished Dark Anodized Cast Aluminum wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero R measuring 305/30 up front and 315/30 out back. The car is equipped with a MagneRide damping system, and stopping power is provided by six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo brake calipers finished in Notorious Blue. Brake-cooling ducts and an electronic line-lock are standard.
The seating surfaces are upholstered in Black Onyx ActiveX, which extends to the door panels. Amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, Ford Racing sill plates, a navigation system, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, Co-Pilot360, and SYNC 4 infotainment with a 13.2″ touchscreen angled toward the driver. The car retains its factory interior protective covers.
The leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel fronts a configurable 12.4″ digital instrument cluster that includes readouts for speed, engine RPM, and ancillary data. The digital odometer indicates 26 miles.
The supercharged and intercooled 5.2-liter Predator cross-plane crank V8 is shared with the Mustang GTD and produces 795 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque. An active valve performance exhaust system is standard along with a magnesium strut tower brace that spans the engine bay. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a seven-speed Tremec dual-clutch automatic transmission, a composite carbon fiber driveshaft, and a 3.73:1 Torsen limited-slip differential. Differential, oil, and transmission coolers are standard equipment from the factory.

My 'Dark Horse SC Track Pack Special Edition' should be here in about 30 days. I have not been this excited to get a new car in a long time, especially after reading about how it beat the Shelby GT500 in performance times. GLWTA!

I'm surprised these weren't released as a 2027 model year considering there's only a couple months left of 2026. Maybe there will be a price increase next year or a AWD electric assist named the Mustang Dark Horse SC X.

I have one of these. What happens in this auction might determine what I do with mine 😂 This car is an absolute beast. Don’t let anyone tell you any different. I’ve had quite a few vehicles, and just sold my Z06 with a Z07 package. And while they are completely different experiences, don’t sleep on this car. Absolute raw power. 80’s style front engine, rear wheel drive muscle car feel. But completely planted. Exhaust sound is next level insane. Can’t say enough good things about it. Best of luck to the bidders. I’m definitely watching and hoping for a great outcome for the current owner and new buyer
