Presentation

This 2023 Aston Martin AMB 001 is a track-only collaboration between Aston Martin and Brough Superior and is one of 100 examples produced. It was purchased new by its current owner from the manufacturer, SA Boxer Motors of Saint-Jean, France, in September 2023 and subsequently imported to the US in January 2024. The bike is powered by a turbocharged 997cc 88-degree V-twin mated to a six-speed transmission and features carbon-fiber bodywork finished in Stirling Green and exposed gloss with Lime Essence accents as well as a hand-stitched saddle brown leather solo seat, an aerodynamic front wing, an aluminum handlebar, rear-set foot controls, LED lighting, and a two-into-one Inconel exhaust system. The billet backbone frame, Fior-type fork, rear swingarm, and 17″ wheels come from CNC-machined aluminum, and additional equipment includes triple disc brakes, front and rear monoshocks, and progressive rear suspension linkage. Intended for display or off-road use only, this AMB 001 is now offered at no reserve in Pennsylvania by a BaT Local Partner on behalf of its current owner with certificates of authenticity and origin, an original sales invoice, import documents, manufacturer’s literature, a rear paddock stand, a coffee table book, a smartphone, a battery charger, and a bill of sale.

The AMB 001 is the first motorcycle to wear Aston Martin wings. The carbon-fiber bodywork of this example, like all AMB 001s, is finished in Stirling Green on top, glossed with Lime Essence accents below, and mounted over a CNC aluminum backbone frame that is bolted directly to the stressed-member engine and joined with a carbon-fiber rear subframe via machined titanium supports. An aerodynamic wing that draws inspiration from Aston Martin’s trademark S-curve grille is attached on the bottom edge of the front cowl, and additional equipment includes rear-set foot controls.
0-Mile 2023 Aston Martin AMB 001 photo 3
Five-spoke wheels machined from forged aluminum are finished in matte black and mounted with 120/70 front and 200/55 rear Michelin Power Slick 2 racing tires. Suspension consists of a Fior-type wishbone fork that is constructed from CNC-machined billet aluminum, and preload-adjustable monoshocks with Lime Essence springs are fitted at both ends, the rear of which is connected via progressive linkage to a CNC-machined aluminum swingarm that pivots in the engine crankcases. Braking up front is handled by radially mounted four-piston calipers over a pair of 320mm stainless-steel rotors while a single two-piston caliper over a 230mm stainless-steel disc is employed at the rear.
0-Mile 2023 Aston Martin AMB 001 photo 4
An aluminum handlebar that features hidden clutch and front brake master cylinder reservoirs as well as integrated lever perches is equipped with hand-stitched brown leather grips. Operational telemetry including an arcing bar-type tachometer, a digital speedometer, and a gear-selection indicator plus engine map and traction control read-outs are displayed on a Bluetooth-connected smartphone that mounts ahead of the fuel tank. The only onboard instrumentation comes in the form of oil-pressure, fuel-level, and neutral-gear lamps
0-Mile 2023 Aston Martin AMB 001 photo 5
Laser-cut nine-micron-thick stainless-steel wings of the same type as found on the Aston Martin Valkyrie sit under the bodywork’s lacquer finish on both sides of a vertical fin that runs the length of the fuel tank and passes under the hand-stitched saddle brown leather solo saddle to merge with the LED taillight lens at the rear. A debossed etching on the fin’s aluminum spine denotes the bike as #032 of 100 AMB 100 examples produced.
0-Mile 2023 Aston Martin AMB 001 photo 6
The liquid-cooled 997cc 88-degree V-twin was factory rated at 180 horsepower and features a variable geometry turbocharger with an intercooler and a low-inertia turbine. Additional equipment includes four valves per cylinder, a composite chain/gear camshaft drive, black-finished billet aluminum crankcase covers, matching radial-style air filter and turbocharger covers, and a two-into-one-into-two Inconel exhaust manifold with flush-fit exits in the belly pan.

Been trying to think of ideas for modding my old ‘11 BMW F800R… maybe some nice sculptural body panels is the way to go to try to get my price back up…
I am envious of the new owner, but glad I am not the one contemplating an investment of this sort on something. I have no idea how to value anymore. But could easily contemplate myself just sitting in front of it for hours… Enjoy!
Oct 19, 2026 · 16:48
Wow, just wow. Let's see this sucker finish strong. Is the buyer going to put any miles on it? We'll need a success story!

@millstoneman as the fellow in the video starting it I can assure you the starter was not engaged, the whine you hear is the the turbo. Happy bidding gents.
Oct 19, 2026 · 13:43
Why they even bother putting an engine in those bikes. None of them are ever going to be ridden anyway :)
Oct 19, 2026 · 12:21
The starter did sound engaged. I'm old school, and have to say, newer designs with molded plastic/carbon fiber, not for me. Just looking at it scares me... And to Elrod Garage, your comment was hilarious! I think most guys can relate!

Ab Fab! Stellar! On and on with superlatives.
Correct me if I'm wrong,(often), but it sounded to me as if the starter was still engaged for awhilewhen running...

With the upcoming AMB002 moving to a production count of 500 and seeing ‘minimized’ performance numbers and styling for road legality, the AMB001’s work of art will simply become more desirable.

As someone who has been in motorcycling and motorcycle racing at the highest level in the US I can confidently say there is absolutely no reason to ride this motorcycle. It is an impeccable design exercise that belongs being proudly displayed. Ok, maybe one lap before being parked in Barber Motorsports Park museum.

@lalawyer22 Happy to help! We just took some measurements of the AMB 001 on its included rear wheel stand. • Overall length: Approximately 86” (7’2”)
• Overall width: Approximately 30” (measured across the handlebars at the widest point)
• Overall height: Approximately 41” (measured to the highest point of the upper fairing)
These are approximate measurements taken with the motorcycle on its stand. Hope this helps, and please let us know if you need anything else!

If machines had a soul, this would be torture: a majestic, gorgeous beast capable of Herculean grace, chained to a stable and never allowed to run. But it is only metal, carbon, rubber, and leather—a kinetic masterpiece locked in a state of eternal, motionless potential.

I dislike motorcycles built to be displayed rather than ridden, but this is extraordinary! Simply stunning. It would be in my living room once the police stopped me from riding it on the street. Unfortunately, it’s going to (deservedly) sell far beyond my means.

Good afternoon, everyone! As we mentioned in our update yesterday, both our client and our team felt it was important to go through the initial startup procedure for this zero-mile Aston Martin AMB 001 to help demonstrate its operational condition and provide prospective bidders with additional confidence in the machine they're considering. Working alongside Richie from Little Lion Coachworks, one of our trusted partners, we carefully followed the initial startup procedure outlined by Brough Superior in the documentation accompanying the motorcycle. We're pleased to share a short video documenting the AMB 001's successful first startup! As you'll see in the video, the motorcycle starts without issue and settles into a steady idle. The included Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone also powers on and connects seamlessly to the bike, displaying engine RPM, fuel and oil pressure warning indicators, and other instrumentation. One important detail worth highlighting is that Brough Superior specifically advises against running the engine for more than three minutes while stationary or not being used on track, citing the risk of overheating without the cooling airflow generated at speed. Given the AMB 001's track-focused design and high-performance engine, we were careful to keep the startup and idle demonstration brief and within the manufacturer's guidelines. For those interested in seeing more of the motorcycle's engineering and construction, we encourage you to revisit yesterday's photographs showing the AMB 001 with its upper bodywork removed, along with the accessories and documentation included in the sale. We hope this additional footage provides prospective bidders with some added confidence and a better appreciation for this extraordinary machine. As always, if anyone has additional questions or requests for information, please don't hesitate to leave a comment below or reach out privately using the Contact Seller button. Thank you again for all the interest and enthusiasm, and best of luck to all bidders!

@vectorbug Thanks for your question! The AMB 001 was supplied new with a Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone, which is included in the sale along with its charging cable. The phone comes preloaded with a dedicated Aston Martin application that serves as the motorcycle’s digital instrument display, providing information such as engine RPM, speed, oil pressure and fuel warnings, along with additional settings and functions. We recently charged and powered on the included Galaxy S10, and it connected seamlessly to the motorcycle. As for whether a different device or an aftermarket display such as the Motogadget Motoscope Pro could be substituted, I am not sure. We’d need to follow up with Brough Superior to provide a definitive answer. Fortunately, the original device is included with the bike and is functioning as intended!

It's a nice thought that it would be ridden, it should be, but it likely wont be, and if it is - it likely wont be ridden in anger, Lol. Pity. If you want a perfect motorcycle to ride, get a BMW RR - THIS - is truly a running sculpture, and belongs in the Petersen full time. In the very least, whoever wins this auction should bring it to the Handbuilt Show in Austin for MotoGP next Spring...I for one would love to see it "in the flesh". GLWTA!

Made for the Man/Woman/"Person" who clearly wants a piece of unique, very cool & expensive motorcycle art! And if one was to call this a "Garage Queen"...I'd say it should be a very tidy and expensive garage at that! And someone who also has their own race track! Sort of reminds me of the "Lotus C-01" motorcycles designed by Daniel Simon (of the movie "Tron: Legacy" fame)...built by the German racing firm of Kodewa in concert with the Holzer Group. Power provided by KTM w/a 1195cc V-Twin punching out some 180+HP. (Bearing the Lotus name by license only.) 100 built....around 2014. But a motorcycle one can actually license and ride on the street! Another bike built for the "elite"! ("PNNA"...Peasant Need Not Apply!)
