842-Mile Azzuro Thetys Metallic 2023 Porsche 911 Sport Classic

This 2023 Porsche is #57 of 1,250 911 Sport Classic examples produced worldwide, all of which link a Turbo-specification twin-turbocharged 3.7L flat-six with a seven-speed manual transaxle and rear-wheel drive. This example was ordered by the seller through the 918 Spyder VIP program via Porsche Woodland Hills in California, and was specified in paint-to-sample Azzuro Thetys Metallic over a Heritage Design Interior in Classic Cognac and Black. The car has 842 miles and is further equipped with lightweight glass, LED Matrix-Design headlights, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, 20″ and 21″ Sport Classic wheels, a front-axle lift system, a High-End Burmester sound system, Lane Change Assist, and Porsche Communication Management with navigation. Work in preparation for the sale included a fluid service and replacing the spark plugs, both batteries, and the cabin air filter. This 992.1 Sport Classic is now offered with a window sticker, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.
The 911 Sport Classic is based on the 911 Turbo S and pays tribute to the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 from the 1970s with its distinctive ducktail spoiler as well as retro design elements including Fuchs-style alloy wheels and gold badging.
This example is finished in paint-to-sample Azzuro Thetys Metallic and features lightweight glass, a carbon-fiber roof with a double-bubble, LED-Matrix Design headlights with PDLS+, Exclusive Deisgn taillights, power-folding mirrors, a Porsche Heritage rear grille badge, and front and rear parking sensors. The seller notes paint protection film has been applied to the full car.
The 20″ and 21″ Sport Classic wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires. Stopping power is provided by Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) with black-finished multi-piston calipers. The car is equipped with a front-axle lift system, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), Porsche Active Suspension Management, and rear-axle steering. The brake fluid was flushed in preparation for the sale.
The heated power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in Cognac leather with Pepita-style cloth inserts and Porsche crests on the headrests, while black trim covers the upper portions of the dashboard and door panels. Additional appointments include a Burmester High-End Surround Sound system, Lane Change Assist, an ionizer, ambient lighting, puddle light projectors, aluminum pedals, and PCM with navigation.
A plaque mounted on the dashboard denotes this example as #57 of 1,250 units produced.

Color nails this model, both are hard to get! I'd have to heat gun off the stickers, they are like tattoos on a supermodel. Color is a lot like Silverstone on BMW M3s.

My fave color on 992's. Azzuro Thetys is not only 5 cans on rennbow but discontinued from PTS color palette completely due to how difficult it is to paint evenly. Would need PTS+ to even have the possibility of ordering another one. A very stunning color in person. GLWTA!

Amazing SC color! Azzurro Thetys Metallic was offered recently and briefly through Porsche’s Paint to Sample program. The name is derived from the Greek goddess Thetis, often depicted in mythology as a sea nymph, which is a fitting name for a blue. ATM is very similar to Lagoon Green Metallic, with the former having more silver in its hue. The color is rated 5/5 paint cans on Rennbow, meaning it’s an extremely rare color on Porsche Models, meaning whoever wins will have a piece of art. Good luck to whoever wins!

To answer some of the relevant questions in the comments, the ppf was deleted on the doors and the rear quarter panels to avoid interfering with the factory stickers and the factory paint protection on the quarter panels. The rest of the car has expel including the rocker panels. In addition the windshield has Clearplex film. The stickers are decals and can be removed easily if the new owner doesn't like them
I think the Porsche scripture at the bottom looks amazing. Numbers are a personal preference thing. I chose 07 because I am a big fan of james Bond. Regarding stripes. Stripes are not available on PTS cars as they are painted and only available on the dove grey cars that was the launch color included as free paint and very common. Most buyers chose dove grey to save money on the build. Azzuro Theytus is very rare and a costly upgrade. There are only 2 know to exist in North America. The other one has all black interior. This is the only Azzuro Theytus known for Porsche North America. Regarding the warranty there is one year left on the factory warranty and yes the car was cpod however to obtain the extra years the warranty extension would have to be purchased through a dealer. The cpo part is done.

Good question. I actually saw this exact car on the showroom floor at Woodland Hills Porsche last month. It doesn’t have a center stripe. I think they were asking around $750k for it.

The 992 Sport Classic is obviously a special car - only 3.8L Turbo with a manual. But it might also be the most “non driven” water-cooled Porsche model there is. I have seen many for sale, but can’t remember a single one that even had 1K miles. For 992 S/Ts, 911Rs, 997 GT3 RS 4.0s, 918s, and Carrera GTs, I can remember many examples that had real mileage. Not sure why that is, but it’s certainly not because any of these are less valuable than a Sport Classic.
