410-Mile 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition
Presentation
This 2006 Ford GT is one of 343 Heritage Edition examples produced, and it was previously sold on BaT in March 2025 before being purchased by the current owner in 2026. It has 410 miles and is finished in Heritage Blue and Epic Orange over Ebony leather. Powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 linked with a six-speed manual gearbox, the car is equipped with a helical limited-slip differential, forged aluminum BBS wheels, a McIntosh stereo system, Brembo brakes, HID headlights, a front splitter, a rear diffuser, and air conditioning. This Heritage Edition GT is now offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title.
The GT took inspiration from the GT40 racing cars of the 1960s and features an extruded-aluminum space frame, roll-bonded floors, and aluminum body panels. The Heritage Edition included a Gulf-inspired blue and orange livery similar to that worn by the 1968 and 1969 Le Mans-winning GT40. Additional equipment includes Ford GT graphics, HID headlights, fog lights, side air intakes, a vented hood, a front splitter, a rear diffuser, and a dual center-exit exhaust system. Paint protection film was applied to the body in December 2025.
Factory-optional BBS forged lightweight aluminum wheels measure 18” up front and 19” out back and are mounted with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires. The Brembo braking system features four-piston monoblock calipers with cross-drilled and ventilated rotors that measure 14” up front and 13.2” out back. The brake, clutch, and power steering fluids were flushed, and the axle flange bolts were replaced in June 2025.
The cockpit is trimmed in Ebony leather, and rubber mats cover bare aluminum floors. Manually adjusted seats were designed by Sparco and feature carbon-fiber shells with GT40-style ventilation grommets and harness slots. The console on the center tunnel houses rotary climate controls, and amenities include a McIntosh CD stereo, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, and push-button ignition.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is affixed to a tilting and telescoping column ahead of the GT40-inspired instrument array consisting of a central tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline and an offset 220-mph speedometer. Toggle-switch controls are positioned under additional gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, boost, and fuel level. The tachometer assembly was replaced in December 2021. The digital odometer indicates 410 miles.
The mid-mounted 5.4-liter DOHC V8 features an aluminum block, cylinder heads, and pistons in addition to a Lysholm screw-type supercharger, a dry-sump lubrication system, and a water-to-air intercooler. Factory-rated output was 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed, the coolant was flushed, and the transaxle fluid, fuel filter, drive belts, and air filters were replaced in June 2025.

When Phil Mickleson competed at a Phoenix open, Ford loaned him a GT for the week. They said he could keep it if he won. He didn’t.

Personally have done the service work for this owner on many of his vehicles as well as have had my hands on this one. He is a no bull kind of owner just wants them right and roadworthy.

@1Dustman drive it more. I have a 'lowly' Centennial white/blue car with almost 21,000 miles.

These are the goat cars. Better than a CGT, F50, and F40… simply because of the drivability and aftermarket support to be making 800whp on the most simple upgrades. My FGT has a pulley and a tune and makes 660whp. Compared to the CGT and F40 I’ve driven it just more usable and reliable in every way. It’s still crazy to me that fine example are not way over 2 million dollars. Lots of appreciation room on FGTs

Is “mileage” a thing with Ferrari GTO’s?

Wow. An amazing car. The next owner will be very lucky!

He's gonna double his money in a year and a half ... better than a sharp stick to the eye. The only issue is he only got to drive it 30 miles. Maybe he'll take the proceeds and get one with 5K-10K miles, pocket the difference and drive like the wind ...
Oct 26, 2026 · 12:24
Bought it 18 months ago (+-) for an eye-popping amount at the time. Now will probably double his money back, plus he got to enjoy 30 miles of driving.

I know this car very well, it is perfect . We did a full body PPF . The owner was meticulous and is a collector .. This is a great opportunity for car enthusiasts to have a piece of history. Love this car

Wow! Another low-mileage Heritage Edition Ford GT! They just keep coming to market, and they continue to bring serious money! As I’ve mentioned before, I really believe the ultra-low-mileage first-generation Ford GTs are the ones to own long-term. We’ve seen an incredible number of these cars hit the market over the last few weeks, especially the Heritage Editions, and demand for the best examples continues to be impressive. In my opinion, the next best thing to owning a sub-1,000-mile Heritage Edition is owning a true delivery-mileage non-Heritage Ford GT. These cars can still be purchased for considerably less than comparable low-mileage Heritage examples, but I don’t think that gap will remain as wide as it is today. The Heritage Editions will always command a premium because of their history and iconic Gulf livery, but I firmly believe the delivery-mileage non-Heritage cars have the most room to appreciate. Finding a 20-year-old Ford GT with virtually no miles is becoming increasingly difficult, regardless of color. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the very best non-Heritage examples start catching up to the Heritage Editions sooner rather than later. What a time to be following the first-generation Ford GT market! It will be interesting to see just how much longer this run continues. Good luck with the auction, seller! You’ve done a great job representing this Ford GT and presenting such a special example!

History lesson from last heritage , low vin 2006. See the front hood STILL is fuzzy underneath but now the rear clamshell buffer bumpers are springs out of the 2002 T Bird to help pop the clamshell open. Just a little switch going down the line😁

There are so many of these low mileage GT’s that I’m starting to think that the Chinese have figured out how to clone those, too.

It’s amazing how many of these cars are simply collector pieces with no intent of driving them. I would want to drive mine.
