15k-Mile 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera 4S 6-Speed

The Carrera 4S shares its wide fenders and bumper design with the 911 Turbo while retaining the standard Carrera’s speed-activated rear spoiler. Finished in Midnight Blue Metallic (L39C), this example features headlamp washers, integrated fog lights, power mirrors, an electric sunroof, dual exhaust outlets, red brake calipers, and 18” 911 Turbo Twist wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps. The car rides on four new Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires with new valve stems, installed in October 2024 at Porsche Burlingame. The seller notes the vehicle was recently detailed and that the paint remains in very good original condition, although it could benefit from paint correction. Both front and rear hood lift supports were replaced in December 2024, and new wiper blades have been installed. Additionally, the LED brake light strip operation has not been confirmed, although both main brake lights are working properly. The cabin is upholstered in Midnight Blue partial leather with matching carpets. Equipment includes optional 8-way power-adjustable front seats, a four-spoke leather steering wheel, power windows and door locks, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Porsche CDR-210 stereo. The radio was serviced in December 2024, including the internal fuse replaced, code obtained, and it is now fully functional. Additionally, the AC system has been recently recharged and is blowing cold, while the heat system is also working properly. The seller states that the odometer gear failed at an unknown point during the car's dormant period and was professionally repaired in December 2024. The current reading of approximately 14,800 miles is consistent with the CARFAX mileage history across all three owners.
Factory-rated at 282 HP and 250 lb-ft of torque, the air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine drives all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle. The Carrera 4S shares its suspension architecture with the 911 Turbo, as well as “Big Red” 4-piston brake calipers and cross-drilled discs. The seller recommends performing a suspension refresh and highlights the following extensive service items, supported by records in the documents tab.
