2025 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Weissach Manthey Racing Package

This 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 RS was optioned with the Weissach Package, which reduced weight by utilizing a carbon-composite roof panel, front lid, anti-roll bars, and interior trim, and the car said to have been a manufacturer marketing and track-use vehicle prior to the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2026. A Manthey Racing performance kit was then fitted, which brought revised aero elements, semi-active coilovers, braided brake lines, and rear-wheel aerodiscs. Finished in Black over matching leather and Race-Tex, the vehicle is powered by a 4.0-liter flat-six that drives the rear wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transaxle and an electronically locking differential. Additional equipment includes LED-Matrix headlights, a sport exhaust system, rear-axle steering, center-locking 20″ and 21″ magnesium wheels, ceramic-composite brakes, a front-axle lift system, heated 18-way adaptive sport seats, Porsche Communication Management, automatic climate control, and cruise control. This 992 GT3 RS has 3,600 miles and is offered in Utah with a window sticker, a CPO certification record, a clean Carfax report, and the manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin.
The GT3 RS features lightweight glass, vented front fenders, and a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) front trunk lid, roof panel, and rear swan-neck-hinged wing with drag-reduction (DRS) functionality. The car has also been fitted with Manthey Racing aero components that include a revised front splitter and flaps, wheel-arch gurneys, roof blades, rear diffuser, and underbody air guides in addition to carbon-fiber rear wing blades, end plates, and a shark fin with a rear-window insert. The CFRP panels are finished in exposed carbon-fiber weave on Weissach Package-equipped cars, and the remainder of this example is finished in Black (041). Additional exterior details include LED-Matrix headlights in black with the Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus along with puddle lights, a rear fog light, and dual center-exit exhaust outlets. Paint-protection film is said to cover the front end of the car, and close-up photos of the finish are provided in the gallery below.
Lightweight magnesium 20″ front and 21″ rear GT3 center-lock wheels with carbon-fiber rear aerodiscs are mounted with 275/35 and 335/30 Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, respectively. Deceleration is provided by Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) with ventilated and cross-drilled rotors. The car is equipped with rear-axle steering, a front-axle lift system, and the Weissach Package, which included carbon-fiber front and rear anti-roll bars and coupling rods. The Manthey Racing package added adjustable semi-active coilovers and braided stainless-steel brake lines.
Heated 18-way power-adjustable adaptive sport seats are upholstered in black leather and Race-Tex with silver stitching and Weissach RS headrest embroidery. Carbon-fiber trim accents the cabin, which is further appointed with dual-zone automatic climate control, illuminated Manthey carbon-fiber door-sill plates, Silver Grey seat belts, black door-pull straps, aluminum pedals, ambient lighting, Porsche Communication Management, and cruise control.
The suede-wrapped steering wheel features silver stitching, a yellow centering stripe, and a drive-mode selector dial, and it frames a central tachometer with a 9k-rpm redline as well as a digital speed readout and dual configurable TFT screens. A chronograph is located atop the center of the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 3,600 miles, approximately 60 of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.0-liter flat-six features direct fuel injection, VarioCam variable valve timing, dry-sump lubrication, and individual throttle bodies. Factory-rated output was 518 horsepower and 342 lb-ft of torque. A Porsche-recommended 10k-mile service was carried out in April 2026, and the car received Porsche Approved certification the following August.

Personally I have a 996 GT3 with euro buckets, 993 RS with buckets, and 992 3RS with guess what? Buckets as well! I agree that the 991/992 buckets are much bigger and more comfy than the older buckets but even my 996 gt3 buckets are plenty comfortable for me. I’m 6’ 190 lbs. Personally for me, no buckets would be a deal breaker. As far as grip and interior aesthetics.

@NWian I guess “big guy” is very subjective. I have sat in buckets of several generations from old to new and none have been in the realm of comfortable for more than a few miles. There isn’t a wrong choice when it comes to building your 911 however the keyboard warriors loose it when a GT car doesn’t have them.

@flyingfrog17 to be completely honest the modern buckets are much more big guy compatible than older buckets. I’m by no means a small guy and I find the buckets pretty comfortable. Whereas the euro 996 GT3 seats are an absolute no go for me.
