4,600-Mile 2024 Lexus LC500 Convertible Bespoke Build

This 2024 Lexus LC500 convertible was purchased new by the current owner from Lexus of Santa Barbara in California, and it was optioned with the Bespoke Build Package, semi-aniline front seats, the All Weather Package, Dark Chrome accents, a head-up display, a Mark Levinson sound system, and 21″ alloy wheels. It now has 4,600 miles and is finished in Ultrasonic Blue Mica over white and blue leather, while power is provided by a 5.0-liter 2UR-GSE V8 linked to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The car is further equipped with an Adaptive Variable Suspension, ventilated disc brakes, a power-operated blue convertible soft top, triple-beam LED headlights, a backup camera, parking sensors, dual exhaust outlets, heated and ventilated power-adjustable semi-aniline front seats, rear bucket seats, a Lexus Interface touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Enhanced Active Noise Control, dynamic radar cruise control, and automatic climate control. This LC500 is now offered on consignment by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with a window sticker, a Certificate of Authenticity, the owner’s manual, service records, Lexus Platinum Vehicle Service Agreement documents, a damage-free Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title.
The car is finished in Ultrasonic Blue Mica with Dark Chrome trim and features a power-operated blue convertible soft top, triple-beam LED headlights, a windshield de-icer, flush door handles, heated power-folding side mirrors, a backup camera, parking sensors, dual exhaust outlets, and a rear diffuser. XPEL paint-protection film was applied to the vehicle in 2024.
The Gloss Black Metallic 21″ forged alloy wheels feature a machined finish and are mounted with Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires. The car is equipped with an Adaptive Variable Suspension, and the LC500 convertible received underbody bracing that included a rear suspension tower and a V-brace. Stopping power is provided by Lexus-branded calipers over ventilated disc brakes at all four corners.
The heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in semi-aniline white leather with blue accents that extend to the dash, center console, and door panels. Additional interior appointments include driver-seat position memory, a Lexus Interface touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a Mark Levinson sound system, Enhanced Active Noise Control, ambient lighting, rear bucket seats, a wind deflector, and automatic climate control.
The heated leather-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with magnesium shifter paddles and is mounted on a power-adjustable column. LFA-inspired instrumentation includes a centrally mounted tachometer as well as a digital speedometer and supplementary gauges. Selectors for traction control and drive modes flank the gauge binnacle, and the car is equipped with driving aids such as a head-up display, a Pre-Collision System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Intuitive Parking Assist, blind spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-keep assist. The digital odometer indicates 4,600 miles.
The 5.0-liter 2UR-GSE V8 is equipped with dual Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence (VVT-i) and was factory rated at 471 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. The LC500 also received an active sports exhaust as standard equipment. The oil was changed in 2025.

777lee777 … for me it’s the value and reliability that one would expect from the LC that has me in the market for one. Perhaps unpopular on this particular thread, in my opinion, the Aston Martin is the more gorgeous of the two vehicles. It’s hard for me to place it over the LC when I consider the value the LC offers in all it’s glory and potential depreciation of the two. Having said that, I don’t know the answer to whether the prices we are seeing in the LCs today are due to their real value and in the future, or if primarily for the FOMO at this end of production. LC is my vote.

Absolutely beautiful vehicle in all the ways that the seller and others have noted. I owned the same ‘24 LCV - Canadian spec - in Ultra White exterior for two driving seasons. As an obsessed car enthusiast for nearly six decades, this is the only car I wish I still owned. As the seller noted, “if you know you know” (hope I got the acronym right). For this category of vehicle and in particular this exceptionally well cared for example, it’s easy to say the new owner will absolutely love this luxury sport GT convertible. Beautiful vehicle!

@777lee777 I strongly considered (and even test drove a new Aston Martin) prior to ordering my LC convertible 4 years ago. The deciding factors for me were: 1) the closest AM dealer is 2.5 hours away (Charlotte), 2) the estimated scheduled maintenance for the AM was 3-4x more than the LC (FYI - I've spent >$1K on my LC since new), 3) insurance was considerably higher on the AM (even for used ones) and 4) the overall depreciation on the AM was much, much higher (I paid $112K for my '23 and it's still worth close to that right now w/12K miles thanks to the recent upside appreciation on all LCs). Each situation is different, but I hope my input helps with your decision. Good luck!

Love this build and have been thinking hard about this versus 2018 Aston Martin Vanquish S Volante. Seems like an odd comparison and yet that's what I find myself doing. One thing that surprised me is the size (close) and weight (not close at all.) Due to the all carbon body, even with the 6.0 V12 hunk, the Vanquish S Volante is nearly 500 lbs lighter with over 100 more HP. I'd be interested in comparisons from folks who have driven them both.

I'm glad to see these cars are finally starting to get the attention they deserve. This example is a magnificent spec that should garner top dollar. I've been fortunate to drive an LC 500 convertible for nearly 4 years now (~12k miles) and it remains by far, the finest automobile I've ever owned. GLWTA!
