Supercharged Coyote–Powered Factory Five Racing Mk4 Roadster 5-Speed
Presentation
This Factory Five Racing Mk4 Roadster was acquired new by its current owner, who commissioned its 2018 build by Modern Motorworks and LR Classics of Arizona. Its powertrain features a supercharged Coyote 5.0-liter V8, a Tremec five-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, and Davis Technologies traction control. Finished in black over a black interior, the car is further equipped with 17″ Halibrand-style wheels, Wilwood disc brakes, a Speedhut GPS speedometer, and a sidepipe exhaust system. This Cobra replica shows 331 miles, and it is offered on consignment by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with build records, a dyno sheet, and an Arizona title that lists a 1965 model year.
The black finish on the fiberglass bodywork is complemented by a dark windshield frame, side mirror, roll hoop, fuel-filler cap, quick-jack bumperettes, and side pipes. Windshield wipers are not installed.
The 17″ Halibrand-style wheels are mounted with 275/45 front and 315/35 rear Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires. The four-wheel disc brakes are equipped with Wilwood six-piston front calipers.
The black interior has low-back bucket seats, latch-and-link harnesses, and Wilwood competition pedals.
Trimmed with Alcantara, a Sparco flat-bottom steering wheel frames the Speedhut 160-mph GPS speedometer, and the dashboard panel houses a Holley EFI engine monitoring display. The digital odometer shows 331 miles.
The supercharged Coyote 5.0-liter crate V8 sends power to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and Davis Technologies traction control is reported. A Mustang Dynamometer test performed in October 2018 recorded a maximum output of 515 horsepower and 439 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. The accompanying dyno sheet is included in the gallery.

I love my mkIV coyote cobra, gen3 with e85 conversion, absolute riot even with the 315 rear rubber… Reliability is awesome on these modern drivetrains… I drive mine all over town almost like a daily driver 🙌

I've seen this car first hand, driven it, etc. The fit and finish is very clean, AN fittings where most would use hose clamps, has power steering when most of these dont. Its incredible to see in person. Good luck with the sale!

@flatop @FordWagon we put the car on corner scales at our shop and it weighs 2,368 lb, split 47% front / 53% rear. With the 515 hp at the wheels from the 2018 Mustang Dynamometer pull, that's about 4.6 lb per wheel horsepower.

@Bigvinny It doesn't currently have wipers. Factory Five offers a wiper kit for the MK4 roadster, but installing one involves drilling the cowl and adding wiring. So yes, but not bolt-on.

@90Pony It's a Gen 2 (2015–2017) Ford 5.0 Coyote. Both the cylinder heads (FR3E-6090) and the timing cover (FR3E-6019) carry 2015-series Ford casting numbers. It's topped with a Ford Racing/Roush supercharger and was installed during the 2018 build by Modern Motorworks in Peoria, AZ.
