9k-Mile 2006 Ford GT
Presentation
This 2006 Ford GT is one of 222 examples produced for the model year finished in Centennial White and now has 9k miles following the current owner’s 2023 acquisition. The interior was specified with Ebony leather, and the car was factory optioned with forged aluminum BBS wheels, a McIntosh stereo system, and painted blue stripes. Power is provided by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 linked with a six-speed manual gearbox and a helical limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes Brembo brakes, HID headlights, a front splitter, a rear diffuser, and air conditioning. This Ford GT is now offered in North Carolina on dealer consignment with manufacturer’s literature, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a California title.
The GT took inspiration from the GT40 racing cars of the 1960s and features an extruded-aluminum space frame, roll-bonded floors, and aluminum body panels. Finished in Centennial White, this example has optional over-the-top blue stripes as well as Ford GT graphics. Other details include HID headlights, fog lights, side air intakes, a vented hood, a front splitter, a rear diffuser, and a dual center-exit exhaust system. Paint protection film is said to have been applied to the lower quarter panels.
Factory-optional BBS forged lightweight aluminum wheels measure 18” up front and 19” out back and are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. The Brembo braking system features four-piston monoblock calipers with cross-drilled and ventilated rotors that measure 14” up front and 13.2” out back.
The cockpit is trimmed in Ebony leather and houses manually adjustable seats designed by Sparco that feature carbon-fiber shells as well as GT40-style ventilation grommets and harness slots. The central tunnel is topped by an aluminum console with rotary climate controls, and rubber mats cover the aluminum floor panels. A McIntosh CD stereo, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, and push-button ignition are also fitted.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is affixed to a tilting and telescoping column. The GT40-inspired instrument array consists of a central tachometer, an offset 220-mph speedometer, and toggle-switch controls positioned under the auxiliary readouts. The digital odometer indicates 9k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 5.4-liter DOHC V8 features an aluminum block, cylinder heads, and pistons in addition to a Lysholm screw-type supercharger, a dry-sump lubrication system, and a water-to-air intercooler. Factory-rated output was 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque.

Although the red ones are great, the white with blue strike is just the right look for these cars. This should easily be in the 700+ range, gonna enjoy the feeding frenzy towards the end that all us BATites seem to wait for!! Don't wait too long on this sweet car.

Well gang, we got another great GT offering ending soon, and it's got just enough miles on it to say it's drivable. No matter the mileage, these are going to keep increasing in value, as we will never see another one like it. Iconic, analog, a drivers car IMHO. Had my 05 out Sunday, cruising effortlessly at a buck 40. Better get on board while you can, before the non-heritage cars reach cubic dollar amounts. GLWTA

Looks like this car has some very interesting ownership history and linked to Mondo Bondo Trust C/O GTBA LLC of Beverly Hills that is linked to Brad Pitt. Very cool!! Plus...This car having the best historic color combo for the Ford GT. Great Car!

I have owned several GT’s for over a decade now and if you don’t drive them much they really don’t need much service. If anyone wants to read the owners manual, you’ll see what service is required. Even though they’re approaching $1 million it doesn’t make much difference about the vehicle. They are the perfect supercar. The cars will last anyone a lifetime to have fun and enjoyment with virtually no service needed. They are not a European drama queen Car.
