2018 Ferrari 488 Spider
Presentation
This 2018 Ferrari 488 Spider was specified in Giallo Modena over Nero leather with yellow stitching, and factory options included carbon-fiber exterior and interior trim as well as a sport exhaust system, black-finished 20″ split-spoke alloy wheels, adaptive front lighting, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, a suspension lift system, and heated power-adjustable seats. The car remained in the original owner’s care until December 2024, and it was purchased by the seller a couple of months later. Power is supplied by a twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed F1 dual-clutch automatic transaxle. Further equipment includes ceramic-composite brakes, an SCM-E magnetorheological damping system, a retractable hardtop, parking sensors, a backup camera, and navigation. This 488 Spider has 30k miles and is now offered in New York with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.
The car is finished in Giallo Modena and features the optional carbon-fiber exterior package as well as a retractable hardtop, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, xenon headlights, AFS adaptive front lighting, rear parking sensors, and a vented deck lid. The front bumper cover and diffuser were repaired in December 2024. Scrapes are present on the underside of the nose.
The 20″ split-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The car is equipped with an SCM-E magnetorheological suspension control system and an optional suspension lift system. Braking is provided by yellow-finished multi-piston calipers over ceramic-composite discs at each corner. The power steering pump was replaced in June 2026, and the seller tells us that the front tires and dampers were replaced around that time. The rear tires were replaced in preparation for the sale.
The heated power-adjustable seats feature embroidered Cavallino Rampante logos on the headrests as well as diamond-stitched accents, and they are upholstered in Nero leather with yellow stitching. Carbon-fiber trim adorns the cabin, and additional amenities include yellow seat belts, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, a backup camera, and cruise control. Driver-seat repairs were performed in December 2024. Various sticky surfaces have been refinished, though the parking brake grip remains sticky.
The leather- and carbon-fiber-trimmed steering wheel sits ahead of column-mounted carbon-fiber paddle shifters and features an engine-start button, a manettino driving-mode selector, and shift lights. Instrumentation consists of a central 10k-rpm tachometer flanked by multifunction displays. The digital odometer indicates 30k miles, approximately 6k miles of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 was factory rated at 661 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed F1 dual-clutch automatic transaxle. A sport exhaust system was optioned from the factory. The turbos were replaced in September 2025, a heat exchanger was replaced in June 2026, and the coolant reservoir was replaced in August 2026.

Under my ownership this vehicle has had the common issues on similar mileage 488s already addressed. The turbos were replaced in September 2025, a heat exchanger was replaced in June 2026, sticky buttons (window switches, convertible top, power folding mirrors) replaced in June 2026, and the coolant reservoir was replaced in August 2026. Tires were replaced to prep this car for sale as well. This is a beautifully maintained car and I’m sad to see her go, but it’s time for an upgrade
