During its restoration, the car was stripped to bare metal, mounted on a rotisserie, and refinished in dark blue following rust remediation. Exterior features include a black vinyl roof, C-pillar-mounted turn signals, and swiveling headlights behind glass covers. It rides on 15" steel wheels with polished covers, wrapped in 185-width Michelin tires, with the front pair dating to 2021 and the rear to 2014. For enthusiasts of documents, archives, history, especially as they relate to this magnificent Citroën 23 IE— it was once listed on the Bringatrailer (in 2021), five years ago. Lot #56174, to be exact. The link is included in this post. Over 400 photos documenting the restoration process are available. Enjoy! Current Client/Owner fell in love with this listing back then. Flew there & bought it while on vacation in Italy and brought it back with him to Canada. Those were all costly expenses you won’t have to incur, since the car is now on our side of the Atlantic 🌊
