1972 Porsche 911T Targa “Olklappe”

Referred to as an “Ölklappe,” this 1972 example offers an external oil filler lid mounted behind the passenger door on the rear quarter panel. This example is finished in Light Yellow and features a removable black Targa roof panel, a brushed stainless steel Targa bar, a wraparound glass rear window, chrome accents, aluminum rocker and deco moldings, a side-exit exhaust outlet, and 15" Fuchs alloy wheels. The cabin is upholstered in black with grey square-weave carpeting. Accessories include an aftermarket leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, VDO instrumentation, roll-up windows, a locking glovebox, and a Blaupunkt Aspen SQR 24 cassette radio.
Power comes from a 2.4-liter air-cooled flat-six with Bosch mechanical fuel injection, which was factory rated at 140 HP, and drives the rear wheels through a 5-speed Type 915 manual transmission. Standard performance features include four-wheel disc brakes and a torsion-bar suspension.
