13k-Mile 1999 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster

This 1999 Lamborghini Diablo VT roadster was specified with Chiaro Blue Metallic paintwork and Snowcorn leather upholstery, and its 5.7-liter V12 has been fitted with an aftermarket exhaust system and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a Viscous Traction all-wheel-drive system with front and rear limited-slip differentials. Riding on 18″ multi-piece alloy wheels, the car indicates 13k miles and is further equipped with an adjustable suspension, a removable hardtop, a rear wing, fixed headlights, scissor doors, fixed-back bucket seats, a front trunk-mounted amplifier, Alpine speakers, Brembo brakes, an Alpine stereo, and automatic climate control. This Diablo VT Roadster was purchased by the current owner in 2020 and is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner in North Carolina with the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a Montana title.
The Marcello Gandini-designed Diablo underwent a mid-cycle refresh for 1999 and received fixed composite headlights sourced from the contemporary Z32 Nissan 300ZX. This example is finished in Chiaro Blue Metallic and has a removable hardtop that stores above the engine compartment, in addition to scissor doors, quad exhaust outlets, and fog lights. Imperfections are highlighted in the gallery, and the front end has been covered with paint protection film.
The 18″ multi-piece alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli tires. The car was optioned with an adjustable suspension, and stopping power is provided by multi-piston Brembo calipers over cross-drilled rotors.
The cockpit features fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in Snowcorn leather upholstery along with a two-tone dashboard. Appointments include dual airbags, Alpine speakers, automatic climate control, a front trunk-mounted amplifier, and an Alpine stereo.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is paired with a dogleg-pattern gated shifter and frames a 220-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 13k miles, approximately 2,400 of which were added under current ownership. The tachometer assembly was replaced in July 2020.
The 5.7-liter V12 was factory rated at 522 horsepower and 466 lb-ft of torque. According to the seller, an engine-out service was performed approximately 300 miles ago, at which time the clutch was replaced and a replacement cylinder head gasket was fitted.

love the 99 and last year of the roadster and so little made,updated dash 530 plus hp.perfection if i was in the market 99/01 are my fav years with all the upgrades and very limited made,beautiful color combo and super low miles,driving a diablo is soo rewarding im on my 3rd nothing like them and great time to buy a real 90s supercar thats so undervalued

Really fantastic car! Need to correct the production numbers. Just under 105 total 1999 final year Diablo Roadster examples were made for the USA market. This includes the 12 MOMO editions and the 12 MILLENNIUM editions. Only 10 cars were produced in Bleu Chiaro and this is probably 1 of 2 or so that are in collector quality condition. Based on our records, there’s less than 20 collector grade 1999 USA Spec Diablo Roadsters left. Most have 30,000 miles, a bad CarFax or have been salvaged. This car is gold, Curated is sad we could not buy it before the auction, we tried. : )

Gandini must have had a few leggy supermodels strolling through his design studio when he initially penned the shape of the Diablo. Those long lines and voluptuous curves…this design has truly stood the test of time. GLWTA

Washington. This is 1 of only 27 Roadster VT’s produced for the American market in 1999. The
current owner has added about 2000+ miles since purchasing the car along with having an
engine out service completed by Lamborghini Charlotte in 2020. This car comes ready for the
next owner! Please note that in some of the photos the passenger side front tire might look a
little low on air. The tire was down a few pounds, and was aired back up for the rest of the

1) the front end of the car and the imperfection seen on pictures you posted - i notice front bumper, part of the hood, and front lower diffuser seems to have rock chip dings and scratches. Are those on top of the PPF (stated installed on the front of the car) or below it?
2) your close up pics of the headlights … can you share even closer as it looks like the stationary hood section of headlights (edge above the physical lights) the color is worn out and exposing metal below paint. Appreciate if you can share close-up pictures of those areas on both headlight sections.
3). Service record you provided states the one of the wheels has an issue and recommendation was to replace if one can be found. Can you elaborate more on that?
