I then dived into a top-end refresh of the engine, and most recently completed a cosmetic refurbishment of the engine compartment and exterior paint. These cars are great grand tourers and, with the 5-speed, a lot of fun on back roads. The 1986.5 models are a transition from the S to the S4, with the 32-valve engine and better brakes on the lighter S chassis.
