I think the comments about the car being a cabriolet without back seats miss the mark. The Speedster is a unique build from the belt line up. This starts with the windscreen having a steeper rake, being 70mm lower, and finished in gloss black. This of course required unique side glass and a unique manually operated fabric top structure, which stores under the unique aluminum double bubble, which covers the space where rear seats would be on a cabriolet. So, a tremendous amount of engineering and bespoke fabrication went into making just 356 cars. I own one and I am reminded every time I look at it or drive it of how Porsche Exclusive, in celebration of their 25th anniversary, showed off their craftsmanship in building these one-year-only cars. Further, many feel that the 997.2 was "peak 911" due to their smaller size, hydraulic steering, and fewer electronic "aids". Finally, wherever you drive it, it will be the only one of its type there. To sum it up, it's a very special car.
