I purchased a 1969 Plymouth Barracuda conv in Dublin, Ireland. The car was manufactured as an export in Hamtrack, MI. I did not know what to expect at the customs house when the inspector opened the container. He looked over the paperwork, stamped the import as Returning American goods, no duties were due. Getting registered at MVB in New York was a nightmare, finally registered. You should have no issues getting the car back home. Good luck.
