I just heard back from my tech and got quoted $2800 for new door handle clips and release cable because my inside handle on the passenger side went limp. Ouch.
@meandmyredferrari I've picked up my Galaxite Black / Red Silver Arrow car ~3 months ago and have been both quite affluent on social media with it and have put 1000 miles on it in the time being. Car was owned by Ryan Friedman 4 years ago and I had sat in it at The Bridge all those years ago. Car ended up at Marshall Goldman, I inquired, contacted Ryan on the car and he along with another friend helped me get in contact with the owners. Worked out a deal, and now it's back on Long Island. If you're attending The Bridge or Topping Rose the morning after, I would love to give you proof of ownership.
@ThejudgeRoy thanks for copy and pasting that from the SLR Roadster listing back in July. as an owner there is no need to try and drive these prices up, let the car speak for itself.
I have scooped up a 6k mile example (CGBlack on 300SL Red) 2 months ago that ended up being a friend's exact car 3 years ago that he had traded for an RS 4.0 at the time. Car ended up in Beverly Hills and now back in NY. Got it for just over 400, really hope to see where this goes.
