AS the former owner of a 1937 Cadillac, I can attest that these are solid honest cars, fully comfortable in modern traffic. The overdrive is a nice bonus - mine would "go as fast as you should care to drive it", but the silky smooth V8 was spooling along rather briskly at freeway speeds.
