@Beachboy18 actually the 1975-1979 930s were also considered to be hand made. The fenders were hand welded to create the flare. Starting in 80 they were all stamped.
Beautifull turbo. The grandpa driving comment cracks me up. I'm 66. I sold my hot rod 79 930 about 5 years ago, and kept my 88 911 cab. The main reason why I sold the 930 was it was hard to drive it as intended due to too much traffic. The only way I would be able to exercise the turbo properly was to get up at 7 am on a Saturday or Sunday (not to church) to run it on the highway north of Atlanta. Even then, I could only do full boost sprints sporadically as traffic would build (as the cops) but I would still try and work around it. I got lucky many times. Rolling 60 - 120 sprints were epic on full boost bar none. I ended starting to drive the turbo as I did the 88 (similar to this driving video) so I decided to sell the 930.
