Presentation

This 2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale is powered by a 3.6-liter V8 paired with a six-speed gearbox that was converted to manual operation in 2020. The car is finished in Rosso Scuderia over Rosso Alcantara and cloth upholstery, and equipment includes ceramic-composite brakes, 19″ Challenge alloy wheels, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, carbon-fiber sport seats, and a gated shifter. The seller acquired the car in 2026 and has since added approximately 600 of the 10k miles. This 360 Challenge Stradale is now offered in Texas with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.

The 360 Challenge Stradale was the track-focused version of the 360 Modena and featured weight-saving measures including composite bumpers, carbon-fiber mirror housings, and a Lexan rear window with carbon-fiber supports. Approximately 1,300 examples were produced worldwide, and this one is finished in Rosso Scuderia. Exterior details include xenon headlights, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, and quad exhaust outlets exiting through the rear fascia.

The 19″ Challenge alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot 4S tires. The suspension of the Challenge Stradale was specified with lower and stiffer titanium coil springs as well as a thicker rear anti-roll bar than those on the standard 360. Stopping power is from red-finished Ferrari-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated ceramic-composite rotors at each corner. The seller notes that the tires were replaced in March 2026.

The cockpit is appointed with carbon-fiber sport seats trimmed in Rosso Alcantara and cloth, along with matching upholstery on the dashboard. Weight-saving trim utilized in the Challenge Stradale model included carbon-fiber door panels, a carbon-fiber console, and reduced sound deadening. Amenities include a CD stereo, air conditioning, and aluminum pedals

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline as well as a digital fuel level readout and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 10k miles, approximately 600 of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.6-liter Tipo F131 V8 features a flat-plane crankshaft, dry-sump lubrication, dual overhead camshafts, and five valves per cylinder. The Challenge Stradale was factory rated at 425 horsepower, an increase over the standard 360, achieved using lighter and higher-compression pistons, a revised intake manifold, and ported intake and exhaust runners. The most recent oil change was performed in March 2026.

Always great when previous owners chime in, with positive vibes, and additional info. Well played, @campy1981, well played!

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I also have the original red binder with all of the service records, along with the original window sticker for the Challenge Stradale. Both will come with the car.

As the 3rd owner of this wonderful car I can tell you it was my pride and joy from roughly 2009-2014. All records and receipts from Esoteric and San Antonio Texas were mine. Car was a later production VIN so had a couple unique and relatively rare options … Rosso scuderia brake calipers … only available in the later production run as many cars had Rosso corsa calipers even though the exterior was spec’d in Rosso scuderia … one of those details that ‘if you know you notice’
Also cd changer … maybe not super desirable but definitely rare! Also the factory spare wheel option … again not many out there and finally the upholstered top … which really adds a finishing touch to the interior as the standard waffle like material looks a bit cheap. Anyway just thought I would briefly comment and hopefully add some intel for those interested to this fantastic car.

@only3pedals before, you were just the king of Sunday coffee ;-)
It’s actually incredible we regularly see 2 different Rosso Corsa 360 CS (with 6MT) at our local coffee spot. One might even walk away thinking these are common base models…

The START button is missing the trim around it and the buttons are all set too low and are also uneven in height. I have the same center console in mine and that should be fixed so it looks correct and factory.

Have seen this one locally at our usual Sunday coffee spot. Always draws a crowd and he isn’t afraid to let the V8 sing! This is the perfect 2000’s Ferrari, will be watching to see where it ends
@only3pedals if this leaves the city, you can be the Houston king of 360’s again

Already bid over the previous conversion!
Imagine a world where a CS 6-speed conversion gets bid higher than the factory F1... That day may arrive sooner than anyone anticipated.

I have this car's twin, stripeless Rosso Scuderia, also in Houston and with similar miles. Both of our cars were also converted by Universal in NY. I've seen this one in person a few times. This car was previously owned and meticulously taken care of by a local dealer (also a seller here who may or may not chime in on this auction). Not a lot to add. It's a low mile CS with an OEM parts conversion done by some of the best in the business. The value chasing purists may hate it, but if you've ever driven a converted CS, there is no going back.

I appreciate a premium listing with no glamour shots. A 6-Speed converted 360 CS speaks for itself. If you have the means, I would highly recommend picking one up...
